Why we built Orvion: a clinic for the patient we wished we had been
Orvion exists because the gap between what good medicine can do and what most patients actually receive is enormous. Here is how we are trying to close it.
Every founder story claims a personal motivation. Ours is unglamorous: we kept watching friends and family pay good money for weight loss and longevity care that was, at best, transactional. A pen in a box, a name on a prescription, and silence for the next twelve weeks.
What we wanted instead
- A real doctor, named and licensed, who answered messages the same day.
- Medication sourced through a licensed UAE pharmacy, with full cold chain to the door.
- Honest pricing. No upsells dressed up as care.
- A plan that included food, training and sleep, not just the injection.
What we deliberately did not build
A loyalty programme. A wellness app with gamified streaks. A monthly box of unnecessary supplements. The clinic should be invisible most of the time, and excellent the moments it matters.
Healthcare quality is a function of how much your provider would care if you were their sister. That is the bar we hire and operate against.
